Survie-Cameroon-Survival-Initiative: here is who will control Maurice Kamto's money

The national president of the MRC, Maurice Kamto, rolled out his response plan against the Covid-19 in Cameroon.

A sort of Marshall plan called "Survie-Cameroon-Survival-Initiative" against the Covid-19, which already affects more than 600 people in Cameroon, making the country the second focus of the disease in Sub-Saharan Africa after South Africa.

The opponent initiated this national solidarity fund, which aims to help all strata of society during this extremely difficult period. Maurice Kamto wants to privilege the purchase of “food and water for people in confinement, protective equipment necessary in confinement and other localities, protective masks, hydroalcoholic solution, protective suits , infrared thermometers, diagnostic test kits, respirators, treatment equipment, medicines for health personnel for the therapeutic management of cases ”.

72 hours later, this initiative launched by the lawyer-politician marks a popular adhesion. The collection amounted to more than 320,000 Euro, a little more than 200 million Fcfa.

We also learn that for the transparent management of funds from the heart, Maurice Kamto trusted his ally Christian Penda Ekoka, president of the Agir movement.
