Coronavirus: panic hits Yaoundé!

The multiplication of cases of contamination pushes certain inhabitants of the Cameroonian capital to take strict measures.

The people of Yaoundé seem to be taking the COVID-19 epidemic more seriously. The level of alert of the pandemic in Cameroon (5 confirmed cases) is less and less reassuring.

“Whether you have 5 or 10 cases, you have to eradicate. I don't know what's going on in airports with what we point at people, that's where there is controversy "is a Yaoundan astonished, while another adds" that we must take the necessary measures, for example cleanliness”.

The epidemic which is spreading gradually in Cameroonian land is worrying. And the only solution for some is God. Beyond faith, the French authorities on the territory have already taken measures to limit the spread of the disease. At Avenue des Banques, near the city hall of the capital, the frequent movements of students from the Lycée Fustel de Coulange are nonexistent. For good reason, the French ambassador asked for the closure of French schools on Cameroonian territory and asked French nationals to remain confined.

At the national level, ban on the missions of civil servants abroad. A decision by Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute. We are also announcing stronger measures during the week.
