Coronavirus: here is the list of all the 17 hotels reserved by the State for quarantine in Cameroon

An administrative requisition from the Governor of the Center region was made to the owners of 17 hotels in the Cameroonian capital.

As part of the coercive measures taken by the government, to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus epidemic in Cameroon, the Governor of the Center region, Naseri Paul Béa, requisitioned a large number of rooms in various hotels in Yaoundé , for the containment of persons suspected of infection with the virus. This in accordance with the response plan set up by the local authorities on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. 

307 rooms in 17 hotels are requisitioned for quarantining suspected subjects, in this case those from abroad. This Tuesday, an important security device, with a strong mobilization of the police, was deployed at Yaoundé-Nsimalen airport, in order to ensure strict compliance with the measures envisaged by the government.

People suspected and confined in these hotels will spend 14 days there, corresponding to the incubation period of the virus. It is only after this period, and if they do not have symptoms, that they could be released.
