CONFIDENTIAL: Yéguié Cavay is in a critical condition

It was the Honorable Koa Mengue Laurentine who presided over the opening of the ordinary session of the National Assembly on behalf of the year 2020, in the presence of the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Chief Dr Joseph Dion Nguté.

The official opening ceremony of this ordinary session lasted barely 30 minutes, but we wonder about the reasons which prevented Cavaye Yéguié Djibril from presiding over the said ceremony. And yet, Tokombéré's son, re-elected to the perch on March 17, signed with his own hand, the decree summoning the elected representatives of the people for the very first session of the 2020 legislative year. On the reasons for his absence at the perch, no source wished to speak. But we have learned that his state of health remains critical. The frail president of the lower house is still struggling to work.

Some participants who expected to see the first vice-president, Hilarion Etong, climb to the perch, in the absence of Cavaye Yeguié Djibril, for the opening speech, rather saw the dean of age, Koa Mengue Laurentine, appear. , CPDM MP, speak. She returned to the forefront after having chaired the session as of right from March 10 to March 17, 2020.

In an authoritarian tone, the honorable Koa Mengue Laurentine invited the deputies to more responsibility in the accomplishment of their missions, to be disciplined and not to enroll in truancy.

The session opened yesterday Friday March 20, 2020, has a maximum duration of 30 days.
