Bamenda: An attack by the ambazoniens made fold Dragon of Yaoundé

The 26th day of the Cameroonian elite championship on Wednesday, March 4, was marked by this extra-sporting fact which relegated the results to the background.

The defeat (0-1) of Dragon of Yaoundé before PWD of Bamenda is only anecdotal, after the nightmare lived by the team of the capital. The red and white bus was intercepted when approaching the Yong Sport Academy stadium by armed men on motorbikes. More fear than harm for the players and supervisors who were robbed of their mobile phones and a sum of 217,000 FCFA before curiously a sum of 100,000 F CFA was given to them by their attackers who then melted into the wild .

Faced with violence and kidnappings in the English-speaking regions of Cameroon for about 4 years, many lend this act to Amazonian fighters who claim the partition of Cameroon. The relatively spared athletes so far had already experienced the kidnapping and the release of some players and coaches last season still in this northwestern regional capital, Bamenda.
