Anglophone Crisis: Tears as 4 municipal councilors and soldiers brutally killed in Noso

Bloody weekend in the North West region of Cameroon where the English-speaking crisis has been raging for several years, with thousands of deaths.

This weekend, English-speaking secessionist fighters attacked a procession that was returning to Bamenda, the regional capital of the northwest.

The attack took place in Oku, in the Bui department where the municipal councilors who were being secured by the soldiers, were returning from the installation of the Bui municipal executive.

The results are tragic. We are talking about a dozen dead, including four municipal councilors, as well as soldiers.

In the neighboring Southwest region, Camer.be has been told by local sources that the Cameroonian army has neutralized more than 50 secessionist fighters.

The circumstances of this lightning attack by the separatist militiamen on a procession comprising municipal councilors and the military were not told to us.
