“It warmed my heart to know that the first Cameroonian sportsman could speak in a speech that did not concern sport. It was something great and it comforts me at work… it gives my morale up. As I always said to kids, you should never give up, ”says the Cameroonian technician.

The disillusionment of the world cup

Despite its continental coronation, Cameroon has completely missed out on its World Cup in Brazil. Indeed, the Cubs finished last in Pool E, beaten first by Tajikistan (0-1), then Argentina (1-3) and finally Spain (0-2). After this failure, Thomas Libiih was fired by Fécafoot.
