The Sub-prefect of Bafia forbids ANDP from campaigning

The National Alliance for Democracy and Progress (Andp) reports that he can no longer campaign in the district of Bafia. The information is relayed by our colleague Le Messager. Ado Abdoulaye the national secretary for communication of the Andp indexes the prefect of the department of Mbam and Inoubou. "The prefect of Mbam and Inoubou seized the sub-prefect of Bafia to ask him to notify the head of the list of Andp in the district to stop his campaign activities," he said in the newspaper columns.

The reason for the injunction is that the list presented by the Andp would have been invalidated. The reason being that activists of the Democratic Rally of the Cameroonian People (Rdpc) were there. The decision was served on the administrative authority by the departmental division of Elecam du Mbam and Inoubou.

Our colleague reports that "by marking his astonishment, the person in charge of communication for this party, joined on the phone, clarified on the subject that membership and resignation within political parties were free". He declared that "by the simple fact that a Cameroonian, had he been in the past member of the Rdpc, subscribed to the lists of the Andp, means de facto his resignation from the Rdpc".

In the ranks of the Andp, we suspect the Democratic Rally of the Cameroonian people. It is said that the ruling party is colluding with the administration.

“One wonders how the Rdpc could attack the composition of the list of Andp before the administrative judge without this party being informed of this complaint brought against him. Would the presidential party be in an unfavorable situation in the conquest of the town hall of Bafia? ”Wonders Le Messager.

All in all, the Andp does not intend to sit idly by. The party plans to take legal action so that all the light is shed on this affair.
