Bamenda: A car belonging to a CPDM candidate riddled with bullets

The weekend was bloody in the English-speaking area. The convoy of an RDPC candidate was attacked twice by armed individuals on Saturday, February 1, in Mbengwi. According to information received by the Cameroonweb editorial staff, four activists from the CPDM party were shot and injured, as well as a police officer. They were taken to hospitals in Mbengwi and Bamenda.

Sources indicate that the amba boys carried out the first attack in the locality of Alahnki located along the Bamenda / Mbengwi road. The balance sheet reported two activists and a police officer injured.

Following their journey about two kilometers from the area of ​​the first attack, the convoy was again attacked by other amba boys who want to prevent it from reaching Mbengwi. The second attack then occurred in the village of Nguembo. Two activists were injured, bringing the total to four CPDM activists and one injured police officer. On the damage list, the vehicle of outgoing deputy Enwi Francis was partially damaged.
