Wizkid in Etoudi: a well known CPDM activist defends Chantal Biya

For having invited to the Palace of Unity, a foreign artist, the Nigerian singer Wizkid, with millions of FCFA, according to indiscretions, the first lady, Chantal Biya, is lynched on the canvas by those who believe that she thus squanders public funds in a context of economic recession.

In response, Arsène Onana, activist of the youth organization of the Democratic Rally of the Cameroonian People (OJRDPC), defended the wife of the Head of State. "The relationship between Chantal BIYA and the artists is fused, passionate and sincere ... In any case, this affectionate and special relationship has the merit of being put at the service of the other, to restore smile and hope to those who need it. In this world where conflicts of all kinds furnish our daily lives, artists are there to make us dream and give us hope. The First Lady, by these attentions towards them, encourages them and invites us to do the same ”explained Arsène Onana in a text published in full below.

CHANTAL BIYA AND THE ARTISTS: A RELATION LIKE ON MUSIC PAPER!

By Arsène ONANA, OJRDPC activist.

The First Lady of Cameroon, whose immensity in humanitarian work is recognized and praised internally as well as internationally, has never ceased to demonstrate a natural fondness for everything related to art. Nothing to do with her title of First Lady, since we often saw pictures of her, parading on fashion catwalks, when she was only an anonymous citizen.

The endearing, spontaneous and caring personality of the one that Cameroonians affectionately call `` Maman Chantoux '' (short for Chantal Vigouroux), generally reaches its peak when she is in the presence of artists. The Mater is loose, to speak prosaically.

How to be surprised, that the stars from here and elsewhere, have a place of choice in public life as in the private sphere of our First Lady!

Despite the rigidity of the Presidency Protocol, Mrs. Chantal BIYA breaks all the codes to let herself be accompanied by these artists who support her action, when she goes to visit orphans, students, sick children, as is often the case during the Christmas Trees which she organizes here and there at the end of the year. Besides, sometimes the disease does not stop them! While CERAC closed a full year serving Cameroonians in the deep country, Petit-Pays appeared, although suffering and barely holding on its crutches. As expected, Chantal BIYA, who chaired the event, walked up to him, encouraged him, and whispered words in his ear, of which only they have the secret ...

Le Tigre dynasty, rising star of Cameroonian music, received its '' golden channel '' a few years ago during a ceremony to which Chantal BIYA was invited. The young orphan had particularly moved the audience. It was enough for the next day, without him knowing how, he ended up at the presidential residence, to receive the maternal affection of Chantal BIYA, far from the cameras ...

They are all sides, these artists who have often visited the presidential residence: Miss Cameroon, models, stylists, are regulars of this Residence. Samuel Eto'o, Gaëlle Enganamouit and other footballers are not to be outdone.

Why talk about her without talking about him? Him Paul BIYA, the President of the Republic. During the Music Festival in 2011, Cameroonians discovered on their small screen, dumbfounded, that hundreds of musicians, dancers, instrumentalists, were received at the private residence of Mvomeka'a, and welcomed by Paul BIYA himself. even ! This same Paul BIYA that we saw a short time ago in a video, in casual attire, and in the company of SINGUILA, who had insisted on coming to wish a happy birthday to Chantal BIYA.

Thus, even the stars of the world who are passing through Cameroon, do not hesitate to request a private audience with the First Lady, to express their appreciation for this immense humanitarian action, and to share moments of joy with her and her family. .

Koffi Olomide, Fally Ipupa, Singuila, and more recently the young Nigerian Wizkid, and many others, do not hesitate to ask for an appointment, very often granted later. Fally Ipupa has already touched the humanitarian action of Madame BIYA by visiting the Chantal BIYA Foundation. We also remember these shots of Singuila, giving donations on December 05, 2019 to residents of the Children First Center, the orphanage of our First Lady.

As we can see, the relationship between Chantal BIYA and the artists is fused, passionate and sincere. Some indiscretions even let us believe that micro question, Chantal BIYA knows a lot ... In any case, this affectionate and special relationship, has the merit of being put at the service of the other, to restore smile and hope to those who need it. In this world where conflicts of all kinds furnish our daily lives, artists are there to make us dream and give us hope. The First Lady, by these attentions towards them, encourages them and invites us to do the same.

Artists in Cameroon therefore have a special place in the heart of the First Lady. This is why, as is traditional, we will see in the coming days hundreds of artists "undermined like never", heading to the Palace of Unity for the wishes to the First Lady, carrying their tickets invitation, with the above mentioned "SPECIAL GUESTS".
