Kamto meeting in Paris: the anti-Bas brigade prepares a very salty welcome

Ghislain Nokam, an MRC executive serves as a liaison between his party and the Anti-Sardinards Brigade as part of the organization of this reception.

Since the ransacking of the Cameroonian embassy in Paris by protesters of the Anti-Sardinard Brigade posing as opponents of the Paul Biya regime and claiming their solidarity with Maurice Kamto, the proximity between this group of individuals and the Movement for the Renaissance of Cameroon (MRC) is under close scrutiny by the authorities in Yaoundé. If the national president of the MRC and his allies have always defended any official and even unofficial collaboration with this group of demonstrators born in the West after the 2018 presidential election, the members of the Anti-Sardinard Brigade meanwhile have always proclaimed their love for Maurice Kamto thus justifying their actions by an alleged electoral hold-up of which the leader of the MRC was allegedly victim in October 2018,

However, even if we have never been able to find factual elements which would establish any proximity between the MRC and the Anti-Sardinard Brigade, it would seem that the hypothetical nature of a relationship binding the two parties does not exist. more, since January, in the order of supputations. At least if we stick to the information relayed by the magazine Jeune Afrique in its edition from 19 to 25 January 2020. According to our colleagues, different units of the Anti-Sardinards Brigade located in France, Germany, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Belgium, Canada are preparing the reception of Maurice Kamto, the national president of the MRC who has been touring the West for several days. Bechir Ben Yahmed's newspaper specifies that the linchpin of this reception is called Ghislain Nokam, a manager of the MRC. For the occasion, Maurice Kamto is expected by the latter on February 1, 2020 in Paris, in Montreal from February 5 to 7, 2020, February 8 in Toronto and from February 09 to 11, 2020 in Washington. For now neither the MRC, even less the spokesperson of Maurice Kamto have not yet communicated on this news.
