Breaking: United States calls on its citizens to leave Iraq with Immediate effect

The United States of America has called on its citizens to leave Iraq with immediate effect following the recent airstrike attack by the United States Trump led Government that killed top military leaders of Iraq and Iran Major-General Qassem Soleimani and Iraqi militia commander Abu Mahdi Muhandis, on Thursday night.

Donald Trump has issue any statement after the attack but back it up with a United States flag which he posted across his social media handle.

Meanwhile, Speaker Nancy Pelosi has condemned the attack, she said due processes were not followed.

She added that the Congress was not informed.

The US War Powers Resolution (also known as the War Powers Resolution of 1973 or the War Powers Act) (50 U.S.C. 1541–1548) is a federal law intended to check the president's power to commit the United States to an armed conflict without the consent of the U.S. Congress.

The United States air strike on Thursday killed Iran's high profile Major-General Qassem Soleimani and Iraqi militia commander Abu Mahdi Muhandis on their convoy in Baghdad airport.

“The game has changed,” Defense Secretary Mark Esper said Thursday, telling reporters that violent acts by Iran-backed Shiite militias in Iraq — including the rocket attack on Dec. 27 that killed one American — will be met with U.S. military force.

He explained that the Iraqi government has fallen short of its obligation to defend its American partner in the attack on the U.S. embassy.

In a statement, the Iran-backed militias reported that American and Israeli have killed the mujahideen Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and Qassem Soleimani.

"The American and Israeli enemy is responsible for killing the mujahideen Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and Qassem Soleimani," statement by Ahmed al-Assadi, a spokesman for Iraq's Popular Mobilisation Forces umbrella grouping of Iran-backed militias.
