Kumba: 20 Secessionist fighters lay down their arms - Government

The concerned join this Wednesday the center of disarmament and demobilization of Buea, in the Southwest region.

Twenty young people engaged in conflicts in favor of the creation of an independent state in the English-speaking area laid down their arms this week.

The ex-combatants were received on Tuesday, December 17, by the Prefect of the Grandma, Chamberlin Ntou Ndong. Today they are joining the Buea Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration Center.

This new series of resignations inflates the figures of repentant fighters, some 300, recorded in the North West and South West since the start of disarmament operations on November 30, 2018.

Chamberlin Ntou Ndong calls the separatists still active in the bush to voluntarily lay down their arms.
