Anglophone Crisis: women burst into tears upon the arrival of Dion Ngute

A group of women has challenged the Cameroonian government to find lasting solutions to the crisis in the northwestern and southwestern regions for the return of peace.

The women made their voices heard yesterday in Bamenda when Prime Minister Dion Ngute arrived in the North West region. They burst into tears, launching their cries of fear and psychosis that have reigned since the escalation of the crisis.

These women carried placards with various messages calling for peace in both regions. In Buea, in the South-West region, the head of government and also waited for women who are planning the same scenario.

In addition, the Prime Minister is expected to meet with various stakeholders in the region, including representatives of the elite, traditional leaders, local administrators, civil society leaders and journalists.
