Ambazonia: John Fru Ndi's brother kidnapped!

Kingsley Azeh Ndi, younger brother of the leader of the Social Democratic Front (SDF), was abducted on April 19, 2019 by unknown persons.

It was in anguish that the family of Ni Jonh Fru Ndi spent the feast of Easter. Kingsley Azeh Ndi, younger brother of the leader of the Social Democratic Front (SDF), was kidnapped on Friday, April 19, 2019 by unidentified people. Relatives report that he was abducted while he was on the John Fru Ndi ranch, located in Bafut locality, in the Mezam Department, North West Region.

He was taken to an unknown destination by gunmen. Three days later, his relatives do not always hear from him. The local correspondent of the National Telegraph website said that the kidnappers had made a request for ransom without specifying the amount. This is not the first time Azeh Ndi has been kidnapped.

This situation reflects the insecurity that has prevailed in the North West and South West regions since the outbreak of the Anglophone crisis. In recent months, kidnappings, followed by ransom demands, have multiplied. To date, there are no official figures on this phenomenon that tends to become widespread in a crisis that has already made, according to the United Nations, nearly 500,000 internally displaced and external.
