URGENT: 38 Cameroonians arrested in Ghana

38 Cameroonians suspected of being involved in counterfeit banknotes were arrested in Kumasi, Ghana by the Immigration Service (GIS).

According to ACI commander Michael Kwadede, who was in charge of the service, they were arrested during an operation organized by the service last week.

Kwadede told camerounWeb's editorial team that these Cameroonians are currently detained in Accra, where new investigations are under way. They are also accused of illegal immigration. Update soon..
