CEMAC: a conference congregate in Ndjamena

At the request of the Chadian Head of State and current President of the Conference of Heads of State of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) Idriss Debi Itno, the 14th session of the Subregional Authority is convened on 24 March in Ndjamena, Chad.

Its purpose is to examine the state of implementation of the resolutions of the Conference of Heads of State held on October 25, 2018 in N'Djamena, with a view to reviving the economies of the CEMAC member states (Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Chad).

Subsequently, the heads of states of the sub-region will examine the progress of the CEMAC institutional reform program and finally discuss the problem of financing the Community through the recovery of the Community integration tax. (TCI).

This 14th session of the Conference of Heads of State of the sub-region will be preceded by the 33rd Session of the Council of Ministers of the Central African Economic Union (UEAC), on 22 March 2019. The following day will be the holding of the Ministerial Committee of the Monetary Union of Central Africa (UMAC).
