Bangagté: Marcel Niat Njifenji son elected as 3rd Deputy Mayor

Two months after the appointment of the former mayor Célestine Ketcha Courtès as Minister of Housing and Urban Development, the commune of Bangangté proceeded on Friday, March 1 to the election of its representatives by municipal councilors.

Dr. Jonas Kouamouo is elected Mayor, replacing Célestine Ketcha Courtes. Eric Niat, the son of the Senate Speaker, takes the lead from 4th Deputy to 3rd Deputy.

The new Mayor of Bangangté, is a biologist pharmacist, settled in Bangangté since 1990 and teaching at the University of the Mountains. He currently vice dean of the faculty of pharmacy. He has already been first deputy during the term of Tchatchoura Thomas.

For his part, Eric Niat, who according to sources declined the candidacy for the position of Mayor said that he decided to keep himself, "I decided to keep myself to continue, with you, the realization of multifaceted social and economic actions to increase the quality of life of people, especially young people. "My vision is that of a commune that is even more radiant and more united and together we will achieve it," said the former 4th Deputy Mayor.
