Anglophone Crisis: unknown persons set a drink truck ablaze

The truck burned this morning of Wednesday, March 13, 2019, was carrying the products of one of the main brewers of Cameroon. It was on the Kumba road, specifically in Muyuka, Balong neighborhood. The authors of this disorder, not been identified. The investigations are open.

A similar event occurred in May of last year in the northwestern region of Nguembo. Six people armed with machetes and a homemade rifle intercepted the vehicle of a French brewery, before stripping and burning.

According to the witnesses of this scene of great banditry and vandalism characterized, that day, the elements of the "Rapid Intervention Battalion" (BIR), an elite body of the Cameroonian army, have unfortunately arrived on the scene of the package, when the six thugs had already escaped, and found refuge in Alaboukan, a peripheral district of Bamenda the regional capital of the North-West.
