Anglophone Crisis: 7 People Arrested Following The Kidnapped Of Students At Buea University

At least seven people were arrested in Buea when security forces opened investigations to find kidnappers who kidnapped athletes from Buea University yesterday.

However, according to some sources, the arrested people are farmers who were on their farms around Buea University early yesterday morning when the incident occurred.

These farmers, four women and three men were taken into custody by the judicial police. Sources said family members were in the judicial police on Thursday morning demanding their release, but were informed that investigations were under way.

Meanwhile, the kidnapped students of Buea University are still in the hands of their captors. But the security forces continue the search.
