Kamto at Cie in Kondengui: Jean Michel Nintcheu's new action plan

Several political figures reacted after the imprisonment of Maurice Kamto and the other persons arrested in the so-called white march of Saturday, January 26, 2019.

The regional president of the SDF for the coastline, the Honorable Jean Michel Nintcheu, said to himself "scandalized".

The thunderous politician thinks that the time has come for the opposition to show solidarity with Maurice Kamto and his comrades.

"To be honest, we plan to organize demonstrations and we have to organize demonstrations," he warns.

"The dictatorial regime of Yaoundé can do nothing to prevent us from demonstrating, it is a constitutional obligation," he recalls.

The leader of the MRC, Professor Maurice Kamto, and 145 people (militants of the MRC and allies) have indeed been déferrés at the main prison of Yaoundé, Kondengui, the night of 12 to 13 February. They were placed under arrest warrant by the investigating judge of the Yaoundé Military Court.

Serious offenses, such as "group rebellion", "hostility against the fatherland", "disturbing public order" and "instigating insurrection", weigh on them.
