Release of 289 prisoners: ex-prisoners express themselves!

The former prisoners of the Anglophone crisis expressed their joy today in the northwestern regional capital, Bamenda, after their release. 

In all, 49 prisoners were arrested on 14 December at Bamenda Central Prison.

At the microphone of the cameroon radio television, they expressed their gratitude to the head of state.

Recall that this comes after the decree of the President of the Republic ordering December 13, the prosecution of more than 280 people incarcerated in the context of the Anglophone crisis.

Of these prisoners, it was not according to the Minister of Defense not criminals and terrorists but "people whose thorough examination of the pending cases before courts military and current investigation files have brought to light charges of a relative gravity ".
