Military Tribunal: Nigerian Lawyers set to Help President Ayuk Tabe

The lead counsel for the English-speaking separatist leaders has released information that three Nigerian lawyers have been urgently requested to join the defense college. These are the masters: Femi falana, Abdul Oroh and another who is based in London.

According to the same senior lawyer, the famous human rights lawyer, Master Felix Agbor Balla Kongho has also decided to join officially, and since that day on December 3, 2018, the defense college of the English separatist leader Julius Sissiku Ayuk Tabé and company incarcerated at the General Secretariat for Defense (SED) in Yaoundé since the beginning of 2018 and transferred on 22 November to Kondengui Central Prison.

In addition, well-introduced sources indicate that the lead counsel, Master Fru John Nsoh will have private pre-trial sessions with the detainees who are also his clients, between December 4 and December 5. A pre-trial as a prelude to the actual trial that will take place on December 6 at the Yaounde Military Court.

On Tuesday, November 27, Julius Sissiku Ayuk Tabe and company had been charged with at least ten counts including: act of terrorism, non-possession of card national identity and spreading false news.

If the separatist leader and company are found guilty, they risk the death penalty under the anti-terrorism law.
