Crisis in Bangourain: open letter to the people against Atanga Nji

This is an alert that I send to the entire Bamum community on the danger that the entire Department of the Noun to serve as a base against the "Ambazonians". I have information that suggests that the current minister of administration is on his way to Bangourain to arm civilians to enlist them in the war against anglophones. This is a dangerous escalation that will bring the Bamum people into collusion against the English-speaking peoples. Which is not excusable. Let's not be complicit in this macabre plot.

The Bamum are sociologically linked to the English speakers and live together in peace. If Atanga Nji decides to arm the Bamum Bangourain to cross the Noun river to fight the "Ambazonians", this is proof that he sent militia to Bangourain to facilitate the enlistment of civilians to go to war in English-speaking regions. I invite all Bamum people to organize peaceful demonstrations today to prevent such a military escalation against the English speakers. It is Machiavellian the strategy of Antaga Nji and he becomes in this coup the enemy of the Bamum people.

Let's act rationally. The United Nations demands dialogue. Bamum must be in favor of dialogue in order to make the option of peace flourish. Do not let us manipulate in the cynicism of Atanga Nji.The civilians were disarmed at Bangourain. Why arm them and take them to war on the other side of the Nun.Bamum must stay at home. They must say no to war.

The wisdom of such an approach is dictated by the reality that the coming civil war is not to the advantage of any Cameroonian.  There are thousands of Bamum in English-speaking areas. Any military escalation endangers the lives of innocent civilians on both sides of the conflict.
