CAN $ 7 billion diversion: the CEO of CRTV unpacks everything!

Along with his reporters who commented yesterday on Sunday, December 02, 2018 live from the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo Yaounde the final of the Cameroon Cup of football, the Director General of CRTV did not miss the opportunity to give a reply to those who suspects him of attempted diversion in a CAN 2019 operation.

While Cameroon still had the status of host country for the final phase of the CAN 2019 football, the Director General of CRTV and his hierarchy, the Minister of the Communication have mounted a project with the aim of diverting public funds.

"These two rogue apprentices wanted to scam 7 billion CFA francs from the state of Cameroon. A few weeks ago, Issa Tchiroma, Minister of Communication and Charles NDONGO CEO of CRTV obtained the agreement to release by the President of the Republic of the amount of 7 billion FCFA for the purchase of transmission equipment for the CAN. An unnecessary expense, the French group Lagardère-Sports, media partner of the Caf, being willing to cover all the blankets "wrote the cyber-journalist Boris Bertolt.

Yesterday Sunday, December 02, 2018, alongside his reporters who commented live from the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium the final of the Cameroon Cup (Eding FC of the Lekie - Lion hurts Fotouni 1-0), the Director General of the CRTV no did not miss the opportunity to give the reply. He denies any involvement in a misappropriation project.

"The illustration of the resilient character of the Cameroonian people, we suffered shocks in the past, we have been able to recover. And it is not the shock of the withdrawal of the organization of CAN 2019 in Cameroon by the CAF which will annihilate us. We will continue to fight and you said it throughout your report, Cameroon will stay up and probably even stronger than ever. Especially as Cameroonians Facebook, they would benefit from living this moment. Because this is the reality here. The reality is what the CRTV antenna shows them. This is not the virtual reality where people today make a profession of dirtying themselves and their country and their fellow citizens.

It came back to me that someone said that I was starting a 7 billion hole with my superiors. But, it must be said to these people that Charles Ndongo, if he likes money like everyone else, he does not think of extravagances. I am a modest citizen, a modest workman who thinks only of doing his duty and nothing else. I am here to serve the Cameroonian people, to serve a Republic that is standing of exemplary".

Charges and counter-accusations are pouring in while voices are rising to ask the Head of State to take his responsibilities by punishing those who are behind the withdrawal of CAN 2019 in Cameroon.
