SERGE ESPOIR MATOMBA: "I AM READY TO DEFEND MY VOTE UNTIL END"

The poll on Sunday, October 7, was tainted by several irregularities that the following day aroused the reactions of some candidates in the presidential election.

For Serges Hope Matomba of the United People for Social Renewal (Purs), several shortcomings that could lead to fraud were observed during Sunday's presidential election.

The latter notes that the figures contained in the minutes provided by the representatives of his party are not consistent with the figures submitted to him two days later.

He therefore considers that his votes were stolen. Like Joshua Osih of the Social Democratic Front, Cabral Libii of the Universe Party and Maurice Kamto of the MRC, the latter intends to claim what belongs to him "I am ready to defend my voices to the end," he said.

Pending the final verdict of the constitutional court within a few days, Serges Espoir Matomba has invited his electorate to remain calm and serene while reassuring them that no vote will be stolen.
