Maurice Kamto's Victory: Issa Tchiroma Bakary reacts violently


Maurice Kamto, presidential candidate, claimed Monday his victory while the official results have not yet been announced.

Questioned by France 24, Issa Tchiroma Bacary, Cameroonian Minister of Communication, said that the statement of Maurice Kamto was worth "nothing". "We can not want to govern Cameroon and get in the way of the laws that govern this country," he added, referring to the work of "pharmacies" whose purpose would be "to destabilize Cameroon."

The results of the election have not yet been made public. The Constitutional Council, composed of relatives of President Biya, has two weeks to proclaim them.
