Bishop Mbarga asks the MRC not to provoke God

Monseigneur Jean Mbarga the archbishop of Yaoundé indicated it during an exit yesterday Monday, October 29th. The prelate was indignant at the demonstration of the RCM of Sunday, October 28, 2018 in front of the Notre-Dame des Victoires Cathedral in Yaoundé.

Excerpt from the words of Bishop Jean Mbarga

The Archdiocese of Yaounde expresses in my voice his deep indignation at the desecration that some political adepts have subjected to our Church-Cathedral this morning of Sunday, October 28, 2018 coming here to exhibit their political leaflets.

The Church of which our diocese is an apolitical institution and of political neutrality. It must not be involved in political demonstrations of any kind. It must not serve as a base, instrument or relay of any political militancy.

That is why we condemn this profanation and confusion that sows disorder in the minds of Christians and believers.

We ask their authors not to provoke the anger of God and to stop this kind of disrespectful acts of the Church and its political neutrality in our country
