Presidential 2018: the strange voting order of Elimbi Lobe

The city councilor was invited on September 9, 2018 to the program 7 Hebdo broadcast on Sundays on the TV channel STV. Speaking on the 2018 Presidential Elimbi Lobe called on voters not to vote opposition candidates.

The reason being that they did not accept the idea of the coalition. He remains convinced that it is by presenting a single candidate that the opposition could overcome the Democratic Rally of the Cameroonian People (CPDM). He pointed out that the party in power, does not go alone to this deadline. It goes with allied political parties like the National Salvation Front for Cameroon (FSNC), the National Alliance for Democracy and Progress (ANDP), the Union of People of Cameroon (UPC) the Bapooh Lipot faction and the Union for Democracy and Progress (UNDP).

Throughout his argument, Elimbi Lobe said he does not ask Cameroonians not to go to the polls.

the contrary, he invites them to go to put in said urns, white ballots. For him, this will be an effective way to punish Maurice Kamto of the Movement for the Renaissance of Cameroon (MRC), Akere Muna of the Popular Front for Development (FPD), Cabral Libi of the UNIVERS, Serge Espoir Matomba of the United People for Social Renewal (PURS), Joshua Osih of the Social Democratic Front (SDF), Adamou Ndam Njoya of the Democratic Union of Cameroon (UDC), Garga Haman Adji of the Alliance for Democracy and Development (ADD) and Ndifor Afanwi Franklin of the National Citizens Movement (MCNC).

The municipal councilor thinks that a white vote will serve as a lesson to the opposition, which after the election on October 7, 2018, will have to prepare for the municipal elections and the legislations postponed until 2019.
