Presidential 2018: Paul Biya announced in the Far North


Cin | Paul Biya will visit the Far North in the coming days to fight campaign for the presidential election of October 7, 2018. This visit will certainly be the first exit of the candidate of the Democratic Rally of the Cameroonian people (Rdpc) since the launch of the electoral campaign September 22nd.

If the date of the visit is not yet known, some elites of the Far North speculate on the date of September 29, 2018. To book a warm welcome to their host, the governor of the Far North, invites the prefects of the region to mobilize the populations.

 With each electoral campaign of the presidential, Paul Biya goes to this region which is the most populated of the country. On Tuesday October 4, 2011 at the Yaya Da├»rou Stadium in Maroua, Paul Biya delivered his first campaign speech for the 2011 presidential election.

"  I came to Maroua to mark the importance I attach to your region, to peace and the problems of the rural world in our new dynamic to put our country on the path of emergence. I am going to appeal to you again because I think that in my project of great design for Cameroon, of which we are currently laying the foundations, you must have a place of choice  "he had launched.

In the Far North, Paul Biya had promised a policy favorable to the improvement of agriculture, by reviving the " big basins of production ", the facilitation to the " creation of agricultural enterprises ", the establishment of a specifically agricultural bank and for the region of the far north, the revival of cotton cultivation, the main source of income in the area and weakened by the fall in prices, but whose global demand seems to be spreading more beautifully.
