Election 2018: Paul Biya's allies storm Lékié

The launching meeting of Monatélé's presidential campaign last Saturday saw the participation of allied parties in the CPDM, namely the Liberal Alliance Party (PAL) and the National Union for Democracy and Progress (UNDP). 

The CPDM election campaign in Lekié was launched according to the guidelines issued by the party hierarchy. "The CPDM Lekié Ouest I section remains mobilized to guarantee a vivid and unquestionable victory for the candidate president Paul Biya on October 7, 2018." This is the unifying message that was enthroned behind the official platform, during the launch of the presidential campaign for the account of the Rassemblement Démocratique du Peuple Camerounais at Monatélé.

This ceremony was organized under the leadership of the chairman of the communal commission, the president of section Rdpc Lékié West I Théophile Tsala Eloundou had as special guest the chairman of the departmental commission, also Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Henri Eyebe Ayissi.

Two parties allied with the CPDM participated in these meetings, namely the Party of the Liberal Alliance (PAL) represented by its national president Célestin Bedzigui and the National Union for Democracy and Progress (UNDP) represented by the president of the Departmental section of the Lekie, Awona Zobo.

"President Biya has given assurances that he is the man who can best respond to the challenges Cameroon is currently facing.We must convince everyone around us to vote for our candidate. No voice should be missing, "PAL National President Célestin Bedzigui told the press.

"In Lekie we have a quality requirement.We insist on the quality of the victory that will depend on the quality of the campaign, because we also have the quality of our candidate. We need an optimal mobilization of all the energies in order to grant to President Paul Biya the maximum of votes of those who are inscribed on the lists ", for his part recalled the president of the departmental commission of the companion of the RDPC in the Lekié , Henri Eyebe Ayissi.

For the representative of the UNDP, "we are gathered to ensure the victory to our common candidate: Paul Biya". The same effervescence in favor of the CPDM candidate was experienced the day before in Obala, through the strong mobilization of young people from the nine departmental sections that the Lekie has.
