At Equinoxe Television, Christian Ekoka Penda speaks on Paul Biya's regime


Since he declared at the beginning of this month of September 2018 in the press his opposition for a new mandate of Paul Biya who has already spent 36 years in power, Christian Penda Ekoka, technical advisor to the Head of State, participated for the first time on a television show this Wednesday, September 12th. It was from 21h in 'The Truth in the Face' a debate program broadcast on Equinoxe Television, a privately owned channel that broadcasts from the city of Douala.

From the outset, one of the interviewers asked the guest to clarify his status among the executives of the Presidency of the Republic.

"I am an adviser to the Head of State" replied the 66-year-old economist, showing a copy of the decree of the Head of State who appointed him to this post. He adds that he remains in office until proven otherwise and that his last exchange with Paul Biya goes back a month.

He then answered questions about his new AGIR movement, his experience at the Unity Palace, the causes of his disenchantment with the Biya regime's governance system, the Anglophone crisis, and so on.
