Dschang Village

Cin | The Ndah public school in Fongo-Ndeng received Monday, September 10, the visit of armed men. According to The New Expression of Wednesday, September 12, 2018, the latter burst into the village of the district of Dschang around 17 hours on motorcycles. Then, gathered all the table-benches of this school in a classroom before setting it on fire. The whole building where the burned classroom was, was burned to ashes. As is the director's office.

Before leaving the village, we learn, the perpetrators of this despicable act took the trouble to issue an ultimatum against the people. They clearly asked them to stop sending their children to school. "The next children who will be taken to school or on the way to school will be kidnapped," they threatened. In addition to this threat, the newspaper reports that this armed group also has all the villagers to leave before they move up a gear.

The New Expression indicates that Ndah, a border worker in Lewoh in the Lebialem department (South-West region) is indeed part of the villages of the Fongo-Ndeng group, Department of Menoua (Western Region) who have been suffering since stalemate in the north-west and south-west regions, assaults by armed gangs. Already Thursday, September 6, 2018, the village Nzieh also border with the department of Lebialem was the target of an attack of the '' amba boy ''.

Around 3 pm, when family members gathered to prepare for the funeral of one of their family, scheduled for Saturday, September 8, 2018, they were suddenly assaulted by a dozen foreigners. Far from them the intention to bring their comfort to the saddened family, but rather the desire to pull the chestnuts from the fire. Armed with homemade rifles, this group of outlaws will hold in respect all persons (mostly women) present before looting.

The first real armed attack perpetrated in the Fongo-Ndeng grouping, took place in the village '' Wonsa'a '' Saturday, June 16, 2018. It had even ended in the death of a civilian. Presented as the perpetrators of these acts of indescribable barbarism, the secessionists never brought a denial.

In the department of Menoua, the populations of several villages located in the districts of Dschang, Fongo-Tongo, Santchou and Nkong-Ni, close to the Southwest Region, now live fear in the belly.
