Ambazonia: where did Paul Biya's emergency humanitarian plan go?

Launched with great pomp on 20 June 2018 by Prime Minister Philemon Yang, under instructions from the President of the Republic, three months later, no information on the evolution of the emergency humanitarian assistance plan is available.

The security situation in the North-West and South-West regions worries and leaves no one indifferent, much less the magnificence of President Paul Biya. What started out as a simple corporatist demand from lawyers and teachers today is a conflict that makes the whole world talk a lot more because of the damage these violence causes. This is why, national and international opinion, decided to mobilize, through a plan of emergency humanitarian assistance.

Most Cameroonians are altruistic. This plan of assistance was summed up in contributions aimed at stealing the aid of the populations affected by the pangs of the exactions of the secessionists. An overall amount of 12,716,500 billion CFA francs; the momentum of heart was felt throughout the country. The affected regions themselves were illustrated with nearly 230 million F CFA. Yet it is the others who gave the voice, 120 million here and there, 45, 22 million by then, the region of the West broke the record with 400 million F CFA.

So far the continuation has not been revealed, even if the Communication Ministers Issa Tchiroma Bakari and Paul Atanga Nji of the Territorial Administration have sometimes tried to reassure the population. On July 5, 2018 at a press conference, the two personalities reported that all arrangements will be made for the implementation of this plan.

In the meantime, we still have the impression of reliving the crush operations of 1994, and the fundraising for the victims of Lake Nyoss in 1986. Cameroonians do not know until today, what served the funds collected in 1986 and 1994. The year 2018 is in the process of entering the same register.
