According to our colleagues, Judge Tahle Mukete was on board a public transport vehicle when he was abducted. His captors would have taken him out of the bus at kilometer 37 and since then no trace of him.

This other, yet unclaimed, abduction has been attributed to secessionist fighters who for some time have been multiplying sporadic attacks on agents and other symbols of the state.

This is the umpteenth time that an authority has been abducted in the southwestern and northwestern regions, which have been suffering from secessionist violence for almost two years.

Last week-end was prison steward Lyonga Melvin, who was abducted by unidentified gunmen in Bali, a locality in the northeastern region of Mezam.
