The Musonge Commission spends 700 million on vehicles, ordered vehicles to be delivered in less than 30 days


The contract awarded by the president of the National Commission for the Promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism to Cami on August 16 is to be delivered in less than thirty days.

The National Commission for the Promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism (CNPBM) wants to equip its car fleet, even though its fifteen members have not been returning to their offices since their appointment in 2017 on board a bicycle. It is with this in mind that on August 16, the President issued a decision "awarding the contract by mutual agreement on the acquisition of fifteen vehicles to the National Commission for the Promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism". ".

The contract awarded by Peter Mafany Musonge covers a total amount of seven hundred million FCFA, which will be financed by the CNPBM's 2018 investment budget. Any calculation done, each vehicle will cost a little more than 46 million FCFA. As a reminder, and according to the specifications defined by the decree that gives it life, the CNPBM is created on January 23, 2017.

This Commission is under the authority of the President of the Republic and is responsible for working to promote bilingualism, multiculturalism, peacekeeping, consolidate the unity of the country and strengthen the will and daily practice of living together of its people. This Commission has fifteen members, including a chairman, a vice-chairman. The members of the Commission are chosen from Cameroonian personalities recognized for their competence, their moral integrity, their honesty and their patriotic sense.

In addition, the CNPBM submits reports and opinions to the President of the Republic and to the government on issues related to the protection and promotion of bilingualism and multiculturalism.
