2018 Presidential: CDU set to organise press conference tomorrow


Jdc | The Cameroon Democratic Union (CDU) has fixed it’s first press conference in Yaounde tomorrow, August 7, 2018.

According to CDU’s National Secretary for  Communication  Ahidjo Mongwat, the press conference that will take place at the CDU headquarters will focus essentially on the presidential election. Mongwat said media men and women of the national and international press will be briefed on the CDU’s vision and preparations so far for the presidential election.

Meanwhile on the field, CDU officials since last week have been combing the nooks and crannies of the country to mobilise party grassroots organs and officials ahead of the presidential poll.  For the northern part of the country, the mobilisation caravan that start in the Far North Region is now working in the  Adamawa Region.

The party like many others however, continues to wait for the Electoral Board of Elections Cameroon to publish the official list of the candidates retained  for the October 7, presidential election.

It should be recalled that CDU’s National President and aspirant to the post of the President of the Republic, is Dr Adamou Ndam Njoya.
