Again President Paul Biya Missed Another International Submit, Sends Prime Minister Philemon Yang To Nouakchott In Mauritania To Represent Him


CIN| Among the first heads of state already on ground since yesterday Friday, June 29 in Nouakchott, figure Denis Sassou-Nguesso Congo. President Paul Biya chose to respond to absentees at the high-level meeting in the Mauritanian capital.

Specially invited by Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, the head of state of Mauritania, Paul Biya preferred to send his prime minister to represent him. Thus, from 01 to 02 July in the huge room of the Palais Mourabitoune built for the occasion, Philemon Yang, will carry the voice of Cameroon at the 31st Summit of Heads of State and Government issues important.

The AU reform project, the acceleration of the establishment of the continental free trade zone, the AU position on the dispute between Morocco and Western Sahara supported by Algeria, the various conflicts armed, the fight against corruption and the migration issue are the stakes of this Summit of Heads of State and Government.

Regarding the reform of the African Union, it was launched at the last summit held last year at the headquarters of the body in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It is envisaged that the financing of the AU renaissance project will be participatory with the Kaberuba tax.

"Without financial autonomy, our ambitious Agenda 2063 will be a catalog of good intentions and our claim to continental leadership and African ownership is nothing more than wishful thinking," warned Chadian President Moussa Faki Mahamat. of the AU Commission.
