Cameroon - Crisis: Ntamulung Presbyterian Church Centre Set Ablaze

Unknown Persons Set Presbyterian Church Centre In Ntamulung Ablaze Last Night After Several Threatened To Give Up On  "Listen To The People’s Encounter” Scheduled May 31st And June 1st 2018.



Unknown persons reportedly set Presbyterian Church Centre ablaze last nigh but fire was ungentlemanly put out by good Samaritans. It was a failed attempt but part of the church was flames up.

According to multiple sources, a galon of fuel was found in the multipurpose hall of the church at the time the fire was lit but people's intervention helps to quench the fire.

Testimony given by the pastor at the centre says there have receives several threatening calls to give up on the open meeting by the National Commission for the Promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism scheduled for May 31st and June 1st 2018.

The meeting themed ” Listen to the People’s encounter” was to hold on May 31 and June 1 at the Presbyterian Church Centre in Ntamulung, in a release signed by the Commission’s head Peter Mafany Musonge read.

Second of such moves from the NCPBM after similar exercise took place in Buea on the 24,25 and 26 April 2018. It was proposed to take place in every regions of Cameroon.

In Buea where the meeting lastly took place, Peter Mafany Musonge and some members of the Commission listened to presented grievances by the population.
