Cameroon - Anlophone Crisis: NGO Human Rights Watch Demands "Immediate Release" Of Abducted Principal


A humanitarian NGO known as Human Rights Watch have demanded the immediate release of the lady head of the Buéa bilingual high school who was abducted in the early hours of Friday, May 25, 2018 by unidentified gunmen

In a statement released by the NGO on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, read that Georgiana Enanga Sanga, the principal of the bilingual secondary school of Buea was kidnapped May 25 by the alleged separatists. accused of having forced her students from the Buéa bilingual high school to participate in the May 20th parade.

Meanwhile, the NGO called on secessionists to stop attacks aimed at destroying children's education, added, "attacks on students, teachers and schools should not be used in conflict or a political struggle "

For more than a year, the English-speaking  socio-political crisis that already claims hundreds of lives continues in the Southwest and Northwest regions of Cameroon.
