Cameroon Government Set To Renovate A Fish Market When They Have Not Even Started Renovating The Peace Of The Country, What A Shame

The partnership, signed between Cameroon’s Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development, Louis Paul Motaze, and the Japanese Ambassador, Kunio Okamura, is aimed at funding the renovation of the landing stage and fish market in the Youpwe neighbourhood, in Douala.

According to the agreement, Japan will disburse close to FCFA 7 billion for the funding which will cover work at the landing stage (a shore for the unloading of fish and fishery products). The work involves enlarging the space for more fishing boats to anchor shores of the Youpwe creek.

Meanwhile, a modern structure equipped with quality facilities will be set up for traders at the Fish Market.
