Anglophone crisis: Decisive meeting on Friday, December 08, 2017 at the National Assembly

The parade and the grand oral of the members of the government before the Finance and Budget Committee ended yesterday Thursday, December 07, 2017.

After a truce that lasted all the morning of this Friday, activities on behalf of the 3rd ordinary session of the legislative year 2017 resume again in the early evening.

On the agenda: Conference of Presidents from 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm, debates in plenary debates on the 2018 Finance Bill

The Conference of Presidents, chaired by Cavaye Yeguie Djibril, the Speaker of the Lower House, has the role of setting, among other things, the agenda of the plenary. Faced with the threats of SDF elected officials who demand the opening of a parliamentary debate on the Anglophone crisis, it is expected to see if Cavaye Yeguie Djibril and peers will include the application of the SDF on the agenda.

"Anyway, we are prepared to block the plenary if there is no discussion of the crisis," says an elected leader of the opposition party.

The evening promises to be long and perhaps very hectic at the Ngoa-Ekelle Chamber.
