Police Commissioner Of Tombel Killed In Attack


237actu| A violent clash between the Cameroonian defense forces and the secessionist fighters on the morning of yesterday, July 10, in Tombel, a locality in the southwest region of Cameroon.

According to information received by 237actu.com, a violent altercation has been held for almost half an hour between the Cameroon Defense Forces and the English-speaking armed groups in the town of Tombel, near the town of Mbanga in the Moungo department.

The attack according to the information has caused several casualties including the Commissioner of Tombel and several other side assailants.

This other attack that created psychosis, we learned, drained the people of Tombel to the city of Loum.

Recent weeks have been particularly hectic in the Southwest and Northwest regions. Clashes between defense forces and secessionist fighters are escalating in these areas of violence for nearly two years.

On June 10, two gendarmes were killed in a clash between secessionists and defense forces in Belo in the North West region.

A few days later, on July 9, the main police inspector Doh Alfred on duty at the central police station of the city of Buea, as well as several elements of the Cameroon Defense Forces who will be brutally killed in the course of a violent altercation between secessionists and loyalists in Buea.
