Cameroon: In Etoudi Biya's Followers Rejoices After Macron's Phone Call

It is almost euphoria in circles close to power and in the press faithful to Yaoundé.

The reason: Macron's phone call to Paul Biya relayed by the sites of the Elysee and the presidency of the Republic of Cameroon.

No line of telephone exchange between the two presidents of France and Cameroon mentions the Anglophone crisis.

However, the day before the Secretary of State at the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, who traveled to Buea in the Southwest, epicenter of armed clashes, expressed his support to Cameroon in the context of the Anglophone crisis.

Before France, Patricia Scotland, General Secretary of the "Gentlemen's Club", pledged Commonwealth support for the preservation of the unity of Cameroon.
