Anglophone Emergency Plan: Issa Tchiroma Bakary, Minister of Communication Donates 2 million FCFA


CIN| Last Saturday, the forces of the Northern Region responded, in the meeting room of the Telecommunication Regulatory Agency, to the call of Governor Jean Abate Edi'i, to make their contribution to the momentum of solidarity. Prescribed by the President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul Biya, in favor of the victims of secessionist abuses.

According to Cameroon Tribune of Wednesday, July 04, 2018, the sum collected at the end of the operation raised hands gave 42,526,000 FCFA, including nearly 20 million in cash, and the rest in pledges. Among the main donors, we can mention Minister Issa Tchiroma Bakary of Communication, who sent 2,000,000 FCFA, the Minister of Basic Education, Youssouf Adidja Alim, who contributed up to 1,000,000 FCFA .

We also note the contributions of the Secretary of State to the Minsanté, Alim Garga Hayatou, who sent 1,000,000 FCFA, the Secretary of State to Mindef, Koumpa Issa who also contributed 1,000,000 FCFA, as well as the governor of the Northern Region, who also released the same amount.

As for the mayors of the region, reports the newspaper, " they deposited a sum of 10 500 000 FCFA, up to 500 000 FCFA per mayor. The deputies and senators of the region meanwhile, have paid 100,000 FCFA each. The regional delegates and assimilated, through their association Aderno, collected 2 000 000 FCFA .

The impetus of solidarity went to touch the men of the media who, through their grouping, also put the hand in the pocket. At the end of the operation, the governor remained optimistic about the capacity of the forces of the region to complete the pot to reach the 50 million CFA francs mark.
