PEACEFUL MARCHES FOR THE RETURN OF PEACE IN THE ENGLISH-SPEAKING REGIONS ARE ANNOUNCED

A237| The Parents and Twins Association for Peace and Solidarity in the World (Apj-Psm), announces a peaceful march for the return of peace in English-speaking areas plagued by violence.

In order to contribute to the return of stability in the northwestern and southwestern regions shaken by extreme violence for several months, the group of parents and twins for peace and solidarity organized marches for the return of peace and stability in the cities of Bamenda, Buea and Yaoundé.

The first march is scheduled for July 07, 2018 in Buea indicates Paul Tsobgni, permanent secretary of this association. For these ambassadors of peace, it is a question of reconciling the sons and daughters of the country through this peaceful march.

"As peace activists, we can not be indifferent to this crisis, which is undermining the peace and solidarity of our country. While we believe that peace is the major lever of our action, we believe it is urgent that we we also raised to reconcile the sons and daughters of Cameroon, to help the return of peace in our communities ". he said.

The association also urges the administrative authorities to pay particular attention to civil societies which, like it, undertake initiatives for the return of peace in the English-speaking regions of Cameroon.

The socio-political crisis that has shaken the South West and North West regions since November 2016 has turned over time into a low-intensity conflict. Kidnappings, kidnappings and summary killings are beating in their hands.
